Overview

China Netcom, as a new generation state-owned telecommunications company that provides a full range of telecommunications services, has developed long-distance voice and data line communications services in Xiangfan area. Broadband Internet access is one of the most important needs of users at present.

As China Netcom Group's resources are gradually in place, and according to the local market demand in Xiangfan, Hubei, China Netcom Hubei Xiangfan Branch urgently needs a broadband access platform with high bandwidth, low cost and easy maintenance.

Since the EPON system adopts passive optical network and point-to-multipoint networking, it has the advantages of high bandwidth, simple structure and low maintenance cost. Users provide broadband access services. Since 2008, Haishuo Technology's EPON equipment has been running well in the network and has stable performance.

Solution
The company used 2 racks, 4 OLTs, 2 network management agent cards, and 150 ONUs. Connect an optical fiber to each OLT in the central computer room to reach the user's residential area. According to the local user's total bandwidth requirements and the user's geographical distribution, the optical splitter cascade is used to flexibly form a network to reach the user's downstairs, and the access switch is the user's Broadband service available.

In the central computer room, the EPON system is managed uniformly through the network management agent card, and the ONU can be monitored and remotely configured in real time.
