Overview:

Hong Kong Guangyao Global Technology is a technology-based enterprise located in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. It has multiple users. With the growth of users, the network bandwidth is seriously insufficient. After comprehensive consideration, the company decided to adopt the FTTH solution. Due to a series of advantages such as large bandwidth, low investment cost, simple structure and easy maintenance of EPON system, after many investigations, Guangyao Technology has targeted Shenzhen Haishuo Technology as the manufacturer of the EPON system.

In June 2008, Guangyao Technology purchased two systems from Shenzhen Haishuo at one time. As a leading EPON equipment supplier, Haishuo Technology provided an overall FTTH solution for this project.

Solution:

The HA7100 OLT is placed in the company's central computer room, and the users under its jurisdiction are all within 10KM from the computer room. The effective transmission distance of the EPON system is 20KM, so it meets the transmission distance requirements.

The company purchased two sets of EPON systems, each with 20 ONUs (up to 32). Each OLT reaches the user's area through an optical fiber, and splits light for each ONU through an optical splitter. The rack adopts a dual power supply structure to achieve 1+1 power protection. In addition, the network management function of the EPON system also facilitates the management of users.

At present, this rack has 8 slots, only two slots are used for the two OLTs, and the remaining slots are convenient for user business expansion.
